Travel from Calstock to Weir Head the furthest navigable point on the River Tamar, passing old mine workings at Okel Tor, Rumleigh Brick Works, Gorton Mine, Morwellham Quay and see the remains of the Canal Lock Gates.
Enjoy the hidden treasures only visible at this time of year, before the trees come in to full leaf such as the abandoned village of New Quay, built as an extension to Morwellham, the old Quays that line the river and ruined mine buildings.

Evening Supper Cruise to the Ship Inn Morwellham

Throughout June & July there will be a ferry service between Calstock & Morwellham Quay with optional inclusive entry in to Morwellham Quay & Copper Mine. Sailing times will be dictated by the weather, tide and the number of visitors. Times will be advertised locally in the village and on our answerphone service telephone 01822 833331. However during August there will be a dedicated daytime ferry service to Morwellham on the following dates and times. Last departure from Morwellham will be approx 2½ hours from arrival.
